Tour de Suisse Stage 2 vs. Winner Robert Gesink - Preview

Tour de Suisse started yesterday with a time trial won by Peter Sagan. Second stage will be more difficult, a high montain stage with special climbing over Verbier in the end. But there will be hard task for cyclists because this is a long day with another high climbing on the way - Simplonpass at about 85 km after the start. Robert Gesink is best Dutch rider in recent years, he has big perspectives and recovered very well after ugly injury, broken leg and came into the 2012 season with good form after winning Tour of California. He won there a similar high mountain stage no. 7 at Mount Baldy and keep the first place in overall rankings. Now, Rabobank rider is first contender to win Tour of Suisse and I rate him as big favourite today to win the race ahead of Valverde, Cunego or Franck Schleck. This is a type of race to win by Robert Gesink, the conditions are good for him and he should deliver good performance. Odds are tasty  and deserve full stake from my side ! GL
