Haas is vastly experienced player and as showed RG he still posses good skills, he is good on Grass as well. Tomic showed in last year’s Wimbledon he is very good on grass, but here it is only the first match on this surface for him so he can be more relaxed. What is more Haas also holds good record in Halle. Only last year he has lost in first round but in every year before he was a winner (2009). He has lost here either in 3 sets or in two but featuring TB. In last 3 losses it were 3 setters. Tomic will make a debut here so he won’t be familiar with the surface at once. Should be tight match.
